Our vision
To promote the development and growth of the national economy, improve living standards within a market-based economy, and create an enabling environment for private investment. The Ministry seeks to address economic and social development disparities among regions and local levels, while supporting the conditions necessary for greater Arab economic integration.
This vision is pursued through the formulation and implementation of policies, studies, strategies, plans, and development programs, as well as through strengthening and expanding international cooperation and partnerships with governments, international organizations, donors and development partners.
Mission
To lead and coordinate national planning efforts for the optimal utilization of resources and available capacities, ensuring the efficient allocation of development investments, meeting the needs of citizens, and promoting sustainable economic and social development.
Objectives
The Ministry aims to coordinate available resources with development needs through the formulation of principles, policies, and strategic directions for managing economic and social development. It also seeks to mobilize financing from both domestic and external sources to support development priorities and contribute effectively to sustained and balanced economic growth, while improving the living standards and well-being of the population.
