Minister of Planning Discusses Strengthening Coordination with KSrelief

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Afrah Al-Zouba, met today with Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), to discuss ways to strengthen coordination between the two sides.
The meeting reviewed the humanitarian and relief assistance provided by KSrelief to Yemen and explored mechanisms to enhance joint cooperation to ensure that aid reaches beneficiaries across the country’s governorates in line with the most pressing needs on the ground.
Dr. Al-Zouba expressed the Yemeni government’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continued and substantial support for the Yemeni people. She noted that the humanitarian, relief, health, and food assistance provided by KSrelief reflects the deep fraternal ties between the two countries and their peoples.
The Minister also outlined the priorities of the new government and reaffirmed the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with KSrelief.
For his part, Dr. Al Rabeeah reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment, through KSrelief, to continuing its humanitarian and relief support for Yemen and to standing alongside the Yemeni people in addressing the country’s ongoing challenges.
